Hi Sarah,

The best thing you can do is to make sure the cover is tight.

Animals always find a way in the pool some how.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hello. I have a few questions in regards to your video. My husband and I are first time homeowners and the house we bought has an inground pool. We have absolutely no experience in how to work on our pool and we are finding out from calls to the local pool companies that maintenance is very expensive.

Is there any way to keep animals and insects from permanently not getting into that pool? I don't want to think over the off season that a poor creature is suffering. I've seen these reflective pool covers that allows UV rays to enter the water through the cover in off months. Do you recommend these? We are going to "try" to attempt to do this ourselves, like the chlorine levels and the maintenance of the pool. We see items that are very handy but hopefully your guidance on here will assist us and put us in the right direction. I don't think my husband can do pipe repairs but I think he can handle the small stuff. :{ Thank you for being so helpful!
