In order to blow the water from the swimming pool plumbing you will need to hook up an air compressor to do so. You can see in this video that you will want to connect the air compressor to the bottom drain plug on your pump. In the video you can see a standard portable air compressor hooked to the bottom of a Hayward Super pump. You will want to blow all the water from the pool system plumbing before the weather goes below freezing to prevent damage.
